Christians, if god told you to kill, would you do it?

Bear in mind that the old testament is full of passages stating when the killing of others is necessary (Deuteronomy Chapter 13), and also that Jesus said (Matt 5:18) "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

If God told me to kill??? This is the divine! If it came straight from God...to not kill would be to disobey God....If God wanted me to kill Osama Bin Laden...I'd be like, so where to you want me to cut him?

He wouldn't so the point is moot. Deuteronomy? That was during the days when the Israelites were conquering the nations around them. Matt. 5:18? Where do you get anyone being told to kill from that?

Not until I kill myself, then I wont be able to kill anyone else.

    Galatians 5:14

14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[

God HAS told me to kill... and I've done it!

Your original question didn't specify which God you mean, but looking at the rest of your post, I'm worndering if you mean the God of Abraham, YHWH. No, YHWH has never spoken to me and your bible quotations are meaningless to me.

For the record, the killing I did was of a small woodland animal and I ate him (as instructed). I have been trying to kill larger woodland creatures (such as deer) but haven't had a successful hunt yet myself.

God has never told me to kill but my superiors did in war. I had to follow UCMJ article 92. Google that article to find out what I am writing about.

This goes for any religion. If they believe in said "God" well enough, they will do anything he "commands".

They have done so in the past, will do now and in the future.

    Me: 4Realz? Are you cereal?

God: Yes, my son. I am cereal.

    Me: Swear!

God: I swear on Satan's life.

    Me: *driveby*

God: But remember, this only has one bullet.

    Gangstas: *bullet misses*

    Gangstas: >:O

    Me: FFFFUUUUUUU-

This is no rhetorical question, as you rightly point out

Jay. Christians have killed thousands without god telling them to. Probably because he doesn't exist.

I'll deal with that when and IF that ever happens.
