Anyone know if the Hard core mode increases strength and life of the necromorphs? Just trying to figure out if it is worth pissing myself off to accomplish. its a long Fricken game.

the enemies are the same "level" as on zealot the only difference is u get only 3 saves and u gotta start from scratch which means ur weapons are kinda puney till u level them so play on a low level see which weapons are ur best bets and stick with them on the nodes and dont wast on any other weapons and also ur stasis and rig will be whats gunna save ur *** and then ur weapons cause alot of times u can freez the enemy and run like hell or if ur cocky freeze them and just wail on them with ur fists and boots and save ur ammo :D and remember in hard core mode never be ashamed to freeze and run like hell no one will blame u :D and considering its harder to get ammo and it will be taking u more shots to bring them down (thats cause ur weapons arnt maxed like they would be in a new game plus) but yea take it slow dont rush dont get it in ur head u can just run through it
and since u get only 3 saves heres a tip its a loong game to play with only 3 breaks so if u need a break find a nice embty cleared spot pause ur game turn off ur controller and take a break its not like ur system isent pluged into a wall and ur battery will die itll be there when u return and go as far as possible befor u save u dont wanna be trecking for hours just walk use stasis and shoot as little as u can if u think u can wing it use ur feet and hands to save ammo for later

I don't know for sure, but try this out -
[1]Start a game on Normal; brand new, not Game+ mode. (Because you can't do Game+ to carry over items into Hard Core) And set a pre-set destination (Infirmary/Plasma Cutter pickup) where you could fight a couple necromorphs and get the feel of the standard plasma cutter.
[2]Then go start a new game, Hard Core mode. Keeping in mind how easily the necromorphs were, test out the strength of the Plasma Cutter and judge it by that.
Best I could do, for now. Good luck!
