Link picture of pregnant dalmatian molly?
Will someone link a picture of a dalmatian molly a few days before giving birth? I'm not sure if mine is pregnant or not. I have it mixed with some green spotted puffers (please don't complain about how these should not be mixed, I'm well aware of the consequences) and I have salt in the tank. For some reason, the molly would chase the puffers and bite their fins (not hard, though) and the puffers didn't seem to mind much. Lately, it has stopped doing this and its stomach looks larger. The people at the store said it was a boy, but I'm not so sure (the store didn't have very experienced workers). Please link a pic of a pregnant dalmatian molly and tell symptoms of its prenany. Thanks! I don't have any males in the tank, but it might have been pregnant when I got it (The second day of having fish I found two babies at the top, but I'm not sure what type they are)
I had two dalmatian mollies, but one died :( I also had "female" platies, but brought them back when I realized I couldn't handle them all, especially since they should not be in too much salt. Also, the babies are about a month old and have spots, so I don' think they were the sunset mickey mice platy

On the molly, look at the bottom fin before the tail. If it is round, it is a female, if long and pointed, it is a male.
Here are some pictures:

Above is the best I could find. If you only have the one molly and found molly fry after bringing it home then it surely is a female. Mollys and other live bearing fish are quite easy to sex, the female has a fan shaped anal fin where as the males have a pointed spear shaped anal fin.
