Are there any people in this forum that are actually on the fence about the existence of god?
I know that I am sure about my opinion. I think most of the opposition in here is too. What is the point of this? Do we really think we are going to change each other's minds?

I doubt it. Many people want to believe in gods, so they use confirmation bias to an absurd degree, while I am a lady who has never seen any evidence that supports the existence of any gods, and I want to know the truth, rather than wanting to believe absurd "gou pi". Fanatics cannot reason, so they waste most of the all too short lives they possess in futile pursuits. The believers and the non-believers speak two quite different languages in effect, so it is similar to someone who speaks only English trying to communicate with me when I spoke only Chinese, but it is even more extreme, because I did learn English well, and some English speakers learn Chinese, but believers and non-believers will never speak the same language, because they do not want to do that.

I for many years have been an athiest, that's to do with attitudes of the church, wars etc, I live somewhere that in order to make them christian they slaughtered 80% of population, that aside, if you tell me god is love, I can get behind that,
I'm no longer snotty, in some ways athiests are the same as alot of religious people., they have their belifes, and no one will get in their way, they will just prove whatever they find to be the proving or disproving of god , for the purposes of this question, I need to say WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY GOD ???? I'm not being flippant but what is your idea of god - then you can ask other people

Most Atheists/Agnostics seem to feel that Christians are all chest-thumping loudmouths that don't know what they are talking about. I'm here at least to show that that isn't always the case and as my Lord guides me to maybe plant a seed that could grow into a strong root of faith.
In and of my own "power" there is nothing I can do to change anyone's mind. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. I will continue to proclaim the truth that I know is real because my God is a good God!
If nothing else it is also fun to research questions that come up. I'm a bookworm what can I say? ^_^ And reading the Bible is as awesome as it gets!

I only changed 2 people's mind in my life, out of the 4 that I tried. Its not easy to do, but if you can make them understand the problems with religion, you won't need to use too many facts. The selfish people will never change their mind, in the end they only care about themselves.

I call myself an agnostic. There are questions I'm on the fence about. But it really depends on your definition of "God".
The Old Testament God, and Heaven and Hell? Angels, Satan, Revelations, etc? No, I pretty definitely don't believe in that medieval stuff.

Most people here are atheists any way, and you can tell that some are "not sure", so that's an obvious question.

Yes. Many atheists do not absolutely deny there is no god, they just assume there isn't until someone proves there is. I am one of them.

Doesn't matter.
It is fun making fun of the religulous. Probably mostly because they want to be made fun of. If they didn't they would keep their bizarre beliefs to themselves.

If you're seeking to have faith, hang onto your wallet, keep thinking and keep your clothes on.

I used to be. I'm not so certain I'm the best follower but I'm convinced God (Christian) is real
