Muslim's how can you believe Jesus was a good person?

I have heard most Muslims believe Jesus existed and was a very good person. If your religion is correct and Jesus was walking around not only preaching a different religion but saying "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". How could you think he was a good person? It would only make sense that you would think he was crazy and a lunatic. Hardly what I would call a great person. He either is truly the Son of God or a liar. You can decide for yourself but I don't see how you think of Him in the middle of those 2 things.

They believe Jesus was one of many prophets including Adam, Abraham, Moses, Muhammad. There are many others, but I am not familiar with them.

well muslims believe that jesus existed and was a prophet which makes of him a good person. i don't think being a good person or a prophet necessarily makes him the son of God. the Quran says that God has no parents and no children, I am not sure if the bible says that Jesus is the son of God or a creature of God like we all are, maybe some people just misinterpreted it. but i think we are all sons of God in the sense that we are all his creatures. Jesus certainly wasn't a Liar.

Oh, by the way I am muslim. and i think religion really separate us, and put us in groups instead of unifying us, which i believe was the intend of religion in first. I think misinterpretation of the Holly book(s) is the reason of this, even people within the same religion disagree on some things and are divided in groups and kind of hate each other; let alone people from other religions

I believe more in god than i believe in religion

Islam is the wrong religion. It was even said that the anti-christ will come from the middle east. The one that displays a moon and star. So, no God is not a liar. He IS the son of God. Muslims are wrong. Mohammed was a false prophet. And Jesus said he is Gods son. Read the true bible, the catholic one.

Muslims believe Jesus was a righteous Prophet of God.

They don't believe he was the Son of God, but they do believe he was born to a virgin by God's order.

Any passage in the BIble that indicates Jesus is the Son of God would be considered a fabrication according to Islam.

I don't understand the rest of your reasoning. There are more choices than you offer.

Source(s): I read the Quran and studied Islam a little

your right. this question has puzzled me as well. my best guess as to why they think that is because they don't want to anger Christians. they would really anger Christians if they said Jesus was a liar. so they say he was a good person but not the Son of God. A stance that, as you said, and I agree, makes no sense at all.

Jesus NEVER said that stuff. Christians put those words in his mouth.

Muslims don't say Jesus is God's Son, OR God or Part of the Trinity.

We say he's a Prophet. Nothing more.

He used to preach about praying to GOD Almighty.

You are trying to use a logical trap by saying that either he was the "Son of God" or a "Liar"

Trying to exclude the fact he could be something else.

    Sorry, this is clear deceit.

By praying the rosary regularly, one can know for certain that Jesus is God, and perfect.

You can find something in the middle if you refuse to believe that the Bible is an accurate record.
