update on reporting a molester!!!!!!!!!!?
I just found out that statutes don't even start until the crime is reported!!!!! So if you were molested as a child and never reported it, you can now, and put the CRAP away!!!!!!!!!!!

It is indeed sad when an adult molests a child.
In most cases, it causes irreparable damage [mentally] the the child.
Relationships are hard to establish later in life because of the inability to trust.
Whoever this happened to, please, please, please have them report it to the proper authorities....it's not right for a pervert to hide behind whatever mask he's wearing and get away with harming another human being....especially one that was vulnerable and unable to defend him/herself.

Hi, In order for a child molester to have their name on the sexual predator list they have to have been convicted of that crime. DHS has a list also but, their name only stays on it for 10 years unless they re offend and, they do not have to be convicted for their name to be on that list. However, the abuse case does need to be founded by DHS in order for their name to be added. There is a statute of limitations on reporting a perpetrator. That limit starts when the victim turns 18. You can check your states statutes regarding reporting to see what the statute of limitations is. You can still report!! JOSA

Many states don't have statute of limitations for crimes against children in criminal cases. In fact I think all of them do.
