easiest way to melt ice and snow from roof?
what would be better to remove ice and snow from a roof? one of the electric cables or installing some type of metal like aluminum to the roof. the use of the pellets or salt may be easy but only temporary. i would rather install something that will last and work all the time. metal only cost at purchase the cable at purchase and during use. but either may be the only use. thanks

The easiest way is to wait for it to melt.
Anything else sounds expensive.
Like changing your loft to a room; the central heating may mean no snow on the roof - ever.
