This may sound petty, but it bugs the life out of me when news reporters pronounce the word drawing as?

'drawring' .Sky News, especially, does it all the time. Shouldn't we expect international broadcasters to at least speak our language correctly?

LOL I haven't heard that but I think it would bug me too. I hate when I hear designers on Home Shows say the "pitchers" on the wall instead of Pictures. I can't stand it . Where were these people educated.

Is this a question? I don't see the question in here. It seems more like a comment. I never heard any news people pronounce anything wrong. Where do you live? My guess is England because I remember seeing the show "Simon" and it was from England and they always pronounced "drawing" as "drawring".

That *IS* how they pronounce it in Great Britain. Just like they pronounce "schedule" with a "sh" sound.

    You should broaden your horizons.
