What anime would be good for me to watch? (don't bother if it don't have an English-dubbed version)?

So far i watch these animes (yes, some are a little young for an 8th grader, but i live with younger siblings and parents who don't want them to see things my age, they're still pretty good though):

-Avatar the Last Airbender (I don't care if it's made in america, it's still an anime!)

-Pokemon (i started at Diamond and pearl )

-Kirby right back at 'ya

-Yu-Gi-Oh! (the first version. the one with Yugi and joey and the pharaoh and ciba[don't think i spelled his name right...] and other poeplez )

i MIGHT start watching keroro gunso, but only because i saw the parody of it on youtube

but if you're an expert on these things, could you recommend one for me? i reuse to watch dragonball-Z, i'll watch it if you REALLY INSIST on it though

Bleach - Amazing anime, full of action and fast paced.

Death Note - Seriously one of the best anime of all time. More thought provoking but still full of action and A LOT of suspense.

InuYasha - And again, lots of action and adventure but also VERY funny at times.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - GO.WATCH.THIS. Amazing just trust me.

Full metal Alchemist - Now this is different from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This was actually made before Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. However, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the plot of the original manga to a T. While this series (NOT Brotherhood) Is an original story line. You dont need to watch this one to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Code Geass - Like Death Note, thought provoking but on a smaller scale. Has lots of action, suspense, and humor. Really great anime.

    Have fun watching!

presently i've got been watching Dubbed anime greater beneficial than subbed because of the fact a million. I desire watching it on my Ipod Nano (exhibit screen length). i'm able to nonetheless examine the subs finding on how great they are, yet i discover that the full practice flows greater useful once you do not might desire to save up with analyzing the subtitles. 2. except the dub dramatically variations the final tale than what's a sprint substitute in communicate gonna do? i'm not gonna sweat it if the communicate isn't a precise translation because of the fact each and every each and every now and then a ingredient stated interior the unique language would not translate properly/ would not make experience in English. i don't understand if it relatively is sensible, yet i desire you get what I advise. besides the undeniable fact that, i will examine subs if the dub high quality is poor, or if somebody recommends the sub over the dub, then i will examine it out. i'm not anti-sub by employing any skill, yet each and every each and every now and then i lose interest stiff in analyzing the subs (i'm a quickly reader). i've got observed that I stick to the story greater useful whilst i'm not consistently having to examine the subs. greater watching, much less analyzing!;) end: each and every each and every now and then it relies upon, yet whilst achieveable, the dub is what i will watch.

Don't listen to the person above. I wouldn't recommend Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note (especially the latter) to an 8th grader. They both have some rather dark themes, complicated plots and graphic violence, and although I'm not in favor of censorship, I think you should wait a few years in order to really get the most out of those shows. I haven't seen Code Geass myself, but the same principle probably applies.

If you want something with lots of action and not too much ecchi, then I would suggest the following:

    - Oh My Goddess

    - Rozen Maiden

    - Gurren Lagann (but do NOT watch the episode 6 director's cut)
