what amp fuse is required for a 12v power inverter for my vehicle?
the power inverter is 750 watts, with 1000 watt peak; directly to car battery; I'm using a in-line fuse.
I plan on using it for laptop, etc.

Yeah, I use a 130 watt continuous, 175 watt peak inverter (Duracell pocket inverter 175) to run my laptop. Perfectly adequate. Charges as fast as when plugged in to the wall socket at home. I just plug it in to the cigarette ligh....sorry, uhhh... "accessory power outlet", which has a 20 amp fuse I think.

Volts * Amps = watts so Watts / Volts = Amps.
1000 Watts / 12 volts = 83.3 amps.
I would go with a 100 amp fuse. As inverters are not 100 percent efficient. 750 watt inverter is overkill for an laptop.
