    A little bit of both. Be practical and always hold out hope for the best but keep in mind what could happen so if it does you are not completely blind sided.

    Practical.

    Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

    It doesn't matter if you think positive or not the chance of failure is still the same regardless. Making positive thinking totally irrelevant.
