Why are people asking questions about philosophy and comparative religious studies in this category?

Of the categories provided to us, they probably belong in the Philosophy section. If we must have these questions in the Religion & Spirituality section, can we get a separate subsection simply for referencing historical texts and views and a separate subsection where people can just agree to interpret/argue about those texts and views? It just seems that in the nature of efficiency and helping out people who don't want to read the idiotic and rhetorically circular logic that any discourse on religion on the internet naturally brings, it would be nice to have a place to ask a specific, objective question on religion that has a specific, objective answer without having to listen to morons who can not even effectively argue their viewpoints, be they religious or secular. Thanks.

No one is forcing you to "listen" to their arguments. That's what the Show Me Another button is for

This is a discussion about religion therefore questions about all different religions are valid. And I tend to skip things I don't find of interest. ;)
