Think this is an original superhero?

Okay so i really wanna make a superhero comic about a teen. This teen was born with no right hand but with a big scab there instead. His father, a scientist and a doctor *WIN WIN created a morphing metallic liquid (that can turn solid when you push a button and turn into goop when you press another) while cutting off his sons scab in a surgery. The boy loves his metallic arm and realizes he can change it into anything he wants. After the death of his best friends he decides to avenge his death by fighting off evil (and finding the escaped criminal who killed his best friend) *i know it sounds like spiderman lol*. He calls himself the Iron Fists and shapeshifts his arm into a metal fist everytime he fights off evil. He starts off as an anonymous superhero and doesn't give his identity away. His father is the first to question if it is him. The superhero gives in and tells his dad. His dad then creates jet boots for his son (its going to be some electromagnetic thing lol). Tell me what u think.
