Does love find a way?

Love's Fate

Love, lust and affection

Dance merrily through life

Disguised in human form

For a day, a month-

Perhaps, a year, or to the close of our lives.

In the end as we ponder

All we have done and felt,

It is not the loss of each love

That we return to reflect upon,

But, the moments love held us aloft-

All pain is cast away

On the flood of fond memories:

And, we close our eyes lastly

With a smile in our hearts,

If not on our lips,

As we fade.

I was blessed with 23 yrs of marriage before I lost my soul-mate to cancer. In those yrs, there were certainly wonderful times, but there were also trying times. In the 10 yrs I have been a widow, there has been much time to reflect on both. The bottom line always, always, rests " with a smile in our hearts" and on my lips.

This poem is truth captured in it's exhale. Remarkable and touching.

A common theme is it not Shannon? I liked your poem. Shakespeare had similar thoughts.

When to the session of sweet silent thought

I summon up remembrance of things past,

I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,

And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:

Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,

For precious friends hid in death's dateless night,

And weep afresh love's long since cancelled woe,

And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight:

Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,

And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er

The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,

Which I new pay as if not paid before.

But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,

All losses are restored and sorrows end.

    Mom

    Your mom, lust and affection

Rolls across the great plains of her belly

    Disguised in human form

    For your mom, a month-

Perhaps, a burrito, or to the close of your mom's life

In the end as we ponder

All your mom has done and felt

It is not the loss of boning your mom

That we return to reflect upon,

But, your mom has moments of love choking on taco bell food

All pain is cast under your mom's baby seal feet

On the flood of fond mom mammeries

And, we open your mom's mouth lastly

Lets put a smile on her face

    If not on her lips,

As we fade inside her forever

Much better to remember the love than the pain. A romantic write from you, nicely presented.

You can get your answer in -- Up coming novel

its just not a simple fiction containing all those trendy "love, sex and cheating"...but it imbibes various feelings, a homo-sapiens commonly feel in his journey of life!!

An innocent boy falls in love with an angel in his school days. He ruins his life for the sake of getting his 1st love, just as, many youths do! His every act is governed by his heart, like romantic movies!!!

Will that boy will be able to resurrect himself from the ditch of lust and love? Will he cheat every body for getting his love or slowly walk away in the wait for her? Will that boy be able to distinguish between 'love' and 'lust in his teenage itself? Will he ruin his life in lust of drugs, prostitute and all other mischievous activities?

Its a book which may prove an inspirational tale for all those youths who ruin their life for the sake of their 'love'! It is for all those teenagers who act in proportion to the temperature of their blood and never realize that she is just a normal 'girl' for whom they are destroying their career! It is also for all those girls who fail getting their love, just because of fear of society and family!!

Its for all Indian chaps, who cannot discuss sex related topics with their parents!

It is for all those parents who want their children to become successful, irrespective of providing enough caution from the girly wave and the other side of the society!!

"Behind every success of a boy, there lies a girl!", everybody says; but nobody ever said, "maximum percentage of guys have ruined their career just because of a girl".

Do everybody in this world is lucky enough in getting their first love?

Is love only governed by body physic and attire?

How far is it justifiable to put career and your life on stake, for getting your love?

Lets find out all the answers to the above queries in this upcoming novel....."Love....♥

    ....will find its way?......!!

  • If we are lucky enough to have passed on our love to those around us it will indeed find a way and even though the memory of us grows faint, Love is still in the air.

Well, the romantic side of you is in rare form. Hopefully when we fade our minds will still be functioning enough to remember! lol
