Where is the best place to live on the east coast?
After I graduate from college, I want to get away from NYC. I'd rather live in/near a large city close to or by the ocean with a warm climate most, if not all, year round. I love summer weather and HATE harsh, chilly winters. I dislike small towns -- I'd like to be within walking distance to stores and such.
What cities do you think I should look into?

Key West, Florida is exactly what you're looking for! The average temperature here is 77.8 degrees and it has never been below 41 or above 98 degrees... EVER!!! It's beautiful all year round, and since it's an island, you're surrounded by the beautiful turquoise blue waters of the Atlantic ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
The city of Key West pretty much takes up the entire island, but it's not huge. It's big enough to have everything you could ever need or possibly want but small enough to have almost everything within walking distance. (bikes are the preferred mode of transportation here)
There are tons of famous stores, shops, restaurants, and bars, and the island nightlife is always poppin'.
The city is beautiful and historic (nyc is historic too, but this place is sooooo much prettier) Palms line the streets and the residents are friendly and welcoming.
The island is known for being laid-back and playtime here lasts all day, everyday.
The only thing I'm unsure of is just how big you would like the city to be, but everything else about key west sounds like it's just for you!
