Nursing shortage in California?

What is the hiring situation in the area you are in? Is there a shortage? Are RN's not being hired due to the economy? Where is the best town/city to get a job in California at the moment? Thanks

Dave

There are some hiring in california, but need a lot of experience to perfect match requirement. 25% last year nursing graduate still don't have a job, anyway RN paid highest in california, start $35/hr, average $50/hr, you can come to have a try. If no success, just as a tour.

We are in the South Bay and all of the Kaiser Permanente Facilities are expanding and they seem to be always hiring, and I've heard they are great to work for. There are other hospitals in the area as well, Little Company of Mary, Torrance Memorial. They are in the Torrance, Long Beach, Harbor City, San Pedro Area.
