Best Shutter Speed - Canon PowerShot Cameras?

I am looking to replace my older Canon PowerShot camera with a new one. I am looking for one with the fastest shutter speed I can get for a not so terribly expensive price. I am looking at the Canon PowerShot SD780IS, the Canon PowerShot SD1400IS, and the Canon PowerShot SD960IS. Does anyone know which has the fastest shutter speed? I am photographing a constantly moving 2 year old.

Update:

I may not have asked the correct question since shutter speed may not be the problem. I have an older PowerShot which I have enjoyed. Since my granddaughter has become more active, there is a lot of blurring in some of the photos. I am not a real camera person - I just want an easy to use camera that will take great shots and capture photos without the blur even when there is movement. Both of the answers I have gotten so far are helpful.

Update 2:

I do know that a DSLR camera is better than the compacts - I was just hoping to find a compact that would do what I need. I am asking for this as a birthday gift, so hate to make the price too high. Now, I don't know what to do. I would probably be happier with the DSLR in the long run <sigh>.

    It doesn't matter whether the fastest speed is 1/1000, 1/2000, or 1/4000. Your child is not likely to move that fast. Your best choice would be a DSLR, because the autofocus is faster than with a compact, you can turn up ISO to get better shutter speed without introducing enormous noise, and you can add a better flash for indoor shots. Another possibility is the Canon G12, which is more compact than a DSLR (although kind of a brick compared to the Powershot SD's). It has less noise than the SD's, but more than the DSLR's. And you can add a flash like the DSLR's that can be pointed at the ceiling to provide softer light and no red-eye, while freezing motion.

    The Canon website shows the specifications like shutter speed for all their current cameras...look there.
