About the name Nevaeh...?

I personally hate the name. I think it's silly, trashy and made-up.

But my question to you who also hate the name:

Would you like the name if it was spelled differently? If it was pronounced the same way but wasn't "Heaven" backwards?

I wouldn't like it spelled any differently because then it would just be even more made up. At least spelled this way it has a meaning of some sort. I just hate that every one who likes this name has to add "It's heaven spelled backwards!" after it every time they mention it. That phrase might as well be the kids middle name. I'm just tired of hearing it.

I don't really understand this name, because Heaven has two syllables but Nevaeh is Heaven backwards and has three syllables. How does that work?

    I find it very confusing.

If it wasn't Heaven backwards, I would think it looked like Nivea, as in the cream, so I would find it pretty odd even then.

  • I have hated it from the jump. It just sounds wrong to me. And as someone said Heaven backwards is Hell.

I do however know some lovely moms with lovely daughters named Nevaeh. I also know one little girl that drives me to madness so that may color my opinion.

i replaced into extremely in simple terms explaining on yet another question that i think of Nevaeh isn't any doubt one in each and every of the worst names ever because of the fact it makes me think of of Hell, because of the fact it is the different of Heaven. i think that way because of the fact an Atheist guy who used to survive my highway named his canine D-O-G because of the fact it replaced into God spelled backwards, so Nevaeh style of makes me think of of the comparable element. yet one extra reason that i'm not too prepared on it is because of the fact i'm fairly not possibly useful a thank you to pronounce it. some say "neh-VAY" and a few say "neh-VAY-ah" and because it is a made up call, it has no genuine pronunciation, so which you never understand once you're asserting it suited or not,if anybody broadcasts it in any different case. i assume, with the two pronunciation,it sounds like it ought to truly be an excellent call, yet I do in simple terms not in simple terms like the thought or the spelling. i might choose for Navae or Navaeah as a acceptance in itself. yet while somebody needs the meaning Heaven, they could desire to easily use the call Heaven. playstation a minimum of Nevaeh isn't as undesirable as Epoh; wish spelled backwards, although. For the question I in simple terms replied for worst names ever, somebody positioned Epoh. curiously it is a acceptance now. That call is thoroughly ridiculous and not in simple terms sounds grotesque, yet hopeless :p

I hate this name. There is absolutely nothing good about it. It's exactly the same if I spelled "Love", "Hope", "Eternity", "Tree", "Fish", "Groundhog" backwards. Look at the results:

    Evol

    Epoh

    Ytinrete

    Eert

    Hsif

    Gohdnuorg

It's really weird, heaven backwards... Kinda weird it's like naming a child susej, Jesus backwards or naming them dog, god backwards...

I think it's silly, trashy, and overused and wouldn't be any better spelled another way.

I think its pretty and unique, but it reminds me of the teen mom's baby! I would spell it Naveah or Navaeah! I wouldnt name my child this though!
