What is more potent? Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, or Naproxen Sodium?
I've just woken up to a MASSIVE headache this morning. (No, it's not a hang-over. I don't drink alcohol.) I've already taken an Aleve Liquid Gel capsule (Naproxen Sodium), but I was wondering which of these three medicinal drugs is more potent (in the event that this doesn't leave me alone in the next half hour). Any additional tips on how to get rid of this pain would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!

Naproxen and Ibuprofen are anti inflammatory drugs and take a long time to get into the systems and stay there for a long time. Acetaminophen is just tylenol. You might try two Excedrin. You can get them without or without aspirin.{Excedrin Free} They do have some caffeine in them. If you read your label you can get the store brand that is much cheaper and will do the same thing. Ask the pharmacist for help.
