What is the Republican Party doing to improve the middle class standard of living?

So far, all I see are pay and benefit cuts. I don't think that a $35 a week tax cut is going to cover lower wages, higher health care costs, and saving for that no Social Security or Medicare retirement.

Their belief is that once you completely eliminate the middle class by driving them into poverty the middle class living standard will be stable.

They're cutting wasteful government spending, or TRYING TO (the Democrats think it's more important that you fund studies on the sex lives of pigs). Learn the lingo: to a Democrat, a "cut" means that the proposed percentage of INCREASE isnt' going to happen. For instance, if the Department of Whatever gets 100 billion this year and is slated to get 10% more next year, to them the "cut" is that the Department of Whatever does NOT get that 10% increase but gets the same 100 billion next year.
