You can not be kicked out of the mall for not being at school during school hours, specifically. However, he can enforce any curfews (many places have them) or a policy the mall may have that forbids minors from not being escorted by an adult.

Take a copy of your homeschool ID and present it if questioned. Most likely, if you are not misbehaving or acting out of place you will not be questioned.

Like the others, i've never heard of such a rule. And i doubt mall security enforces them any time other than kids running around causing trouble. I would just go, keep the kids relatively under control and well mannered. As long as you keep the peace, you shouldn't really run into trouble. There are too many people and too many entrances at a mall for security to act like bouncers. They're not running around randomly carding people.

    Chris,

Of course he can. It has nothing to do with school.

Most malls are "Private Property". Therefore they can ask or demand that anyone leave the property at any time for any reason. After being asked and given time to comply, they can have you arrested.

Not unless you are doing something wrong or they have age restrictions. He could report you to police on suspicion of being truant, as long as you can prove that you are not bunking of then you should be fine
