Why are Free Republic and pay-for-"conservative"-commercial-types calling progressive radio shows claiming . .?
. . . to be “liberal Democrats” before spewing their pre-Dickensian claptrap? Given that most progressive radio hosts invite dissent and varying views, wouldn't it be less undermining of their opinion to enter the conversation without opening with an intentional fabrication? This question is > > > NOT < < < about the worthiness of ‘Progress Talk’ or its message; it is about discussing the attempt to convince through premeditated covert dishonesty. Again, the inquiry is not about defending/disparaging ‘Progressive Talk’ radio; it was about folk entering into a public conversation through willful and intentional lies and moral malfeasance. I want to understand why recessivists insist on intentionally and knowingly arguing from a position of compromised integrity. It is my fervent desire that folk address that issue. Please focus on/discuss the right-wing callers approach to SPAMming ‘Progressive Talk’ Shows.

SIDE NOTE - Additional Information:
Sooth be typed, I have nothing against individuals holding recessivist opinions. I like having folk to discuss diverging ideas with to sharpen my understanding of our fact-based reality. Heck if it weren't for historical illiteracy and piss-poor rhetorical skills there would be no Republicans/Libertarians/Objectivists. I do not care, at this moment, if you think that living in 1860 would be totally Smurfy.
SIDE NOTE - Additional Information 2:
Progressive Talkers now make up 3 to the Top Ten Talkers (up from 1 over the last 5 years): http://www.talkers.com/2011hhindex.html
Corporate media outlets tend towards attempting to deliver a message that supports their interests. There is a plethora of data to show that markets where progress media is allowed to be broadcast, it is very competitive and often overshadows the market share of the big five Right Talkers. If the corporate media outlets in your area avoids broadcasting Progressive Talkers, I suggest that you consider streaming 1150AM KTLK from Los Angeles or 620AM KPOJ from Oregon OR consider podcasting Thom Hartmann or Stephanie Miller or even Randi Rhodes in the short run. The message may not be your cup of tea and you may choose to avoid it thereafter.
@ellwinger: Thank you for actually addressing the question. I wish that the folk on the un-Left had chosen to address the issue directly. I, too, am given pause that honest dialogue with folk on the other side seems utterly futile.
@Samurai: Liberal/Progressives tend to be screened out on Winger Radio AND I have never lied when calling into one.
@Bmovie6...: Actually, they are . . . and they tend to do so every other week, like there is a mid and end of the month billing cycle.
FOR the Rest:You should also note that in markets were Progressive Radio airs it tends to be more than competitive with more corporate friendly stations and when stations convert away from Progressive Talk they tend to never regain comparable market share. The industry link above shows that you are incorrect in your suppositions.
Additionally, while I would have preferred open dialogue on the topic . . . Your collective inability to address it is deafening.

You know the answer to this as well as I do, Richard. The conservative viewpoint cannot stand on its own merits so it MUST revert to lies (they'll call YOU the liar), dirty tricks (they'll call YOU the shyster),
and any sort of devious strategy they can come up with. I can't remember the last time I had an ernest, honest debate with a conservative. Perhaps the honest ones are afraid of their contemporaries and have gone into hiding. Pity.

Never had the opportunity to hear Progressive Talk Radio, they couldn't find a sponsor in Texas and you know Liberals like to spend other peoples money, not their own.

"Why are Free Republic and pay-for-"conservative"-commerc… calling progressive radio shows claiming . .?
. . . to be “liberal Democrats” before spewing their pre-Dickensian claptrap"
They're not.
Why do Democrats accuse others of doing things they themselves are guilty of?
Every election year we have to put up with the phony "lifelong Republicans who have seen the light and are now voting Democrat for the very first time".
Democrats use a fake Republican (Barney Smith) from Grant County
