Sure you do - they may be good or bad or maybe a mixed bag of emotions.

At the end of the day, they shared your life and those experiences will stay with you forever. If you are worried, think of it as a learning curve. In years to come, you will be able to look back and view the experiences without prejudice. The longer you were together, the longer they stay with you. They become part of you in a way. Example: I find myself using my ex's old expressions even now and we have been long out of each others' lives for many years :P

Don't feel guilty or think having these feelings mean you should be together again. You split for a reason. But, do realise the experience is a part of you now and move on.

I was married to my ex-husband for 28 years. I definitely don't have any romantic feelings for him (those were gone long before the marriage ended), but we're still on reasonably good terms. If I feel anything for him, it's a sort of sympathy and sadness; he had a good thing - me - and he lost me to his own apathy.
