The times, they are a-changing?
So, it sounds like the Nashville Predators will have at least a new home sweater, if not a whole new set. That got me thinking, because it seems like teams have been changing their jerseys a lot more often since the introduction of the Reebok edge (granted, it might just be noticeable). With that in mind, some questions on jersey changes:
1) Which was the best re-branding since the Edge came out
2) Which team changed their jerseys for the worst?
3) Which specialty jersey (Winter/Harritage Classic, throw-back, or anniversary jersey) was the best?
4) Which specialty jersey was the worst?
5) In soccer, teams get new uniforms every year. sometimes they are subtle, some are complete re-hauls. Could you ever see that happening in hockey?
6) Not counting your favorite team, which jersey, in use this season, looks the best/would you be most willing to buy (if your life depended on it)?
7) I once ready a study about how hockey teams who wear black tend to get penalized more. with that in mind, which jersey in the league do you most associate with rough/physical play?

1. Canucks (should count as a re-branding, since the whole color scheme was changed)
2. Dallas hands down (Tampa will be 2nd starting next season)
3. Washington's Winter Classic jersey was nice
4. Montreal's Heritage Classic jersey (almost exactly like their regular road jersey)
5. i really hope not
6. i'd be cool with an LA home jersey. i really like the black and purple. if the Whalers were still a team, i'd have one of the jersey's they wore from 92-93 to 96-97

7. Philly's home jersey. it screams Broad Street Bullies

I liked Dallas' home jerseys. The one that says "dallas" diagnally.
2) Which team changed their jerseys for the worst?
THe Ducks I guess.
3) Which specialty jersey (Winter/Harritage Classic, throw-back, or anniversary jersey) was the best?
I can't believe I'm saying this but I like the Capitals one.
4) Which specialty jersey was the worst?
The Penguins blue jerseys.... no gusto!!
5) In soccer, teams get new uniforms every year. sometimes they are subtle, some are complete re-hauls. Could you ever see that happening in hockey?
I would hope not. everytime I buy a jersey, it's outdated in 365 days or less.
6) Not counting your favorite team, which jersey, in use this season, looks the best/would you be most willing to buy (if your life depended on it)?
Edmonton Oilers.
7) I once ready a study about how hockey teams who wear black tend to get penalized more. with that in mind, which jersey in the league do you most associate with rough/physical play?
I think that's why the Flyers did away with their black jerseys.

1. The Penguins and the Canadiens.
2. The Oilers definitely, although I dislike the Sabres too. I understand they wanted to bring back the Gretzky era and it's great, but the colours are hideous and don't match together.
3. The camouflage jerseys for the Operation Homefront Night. http://cgi.ebay.com/Montreal-canadiens-Military-ar...
4. Can't think of anything specific but the fisherman NY Islanders jersey was pretty bad.
5. I don't see that happening. As another user said, hockey jerseys are expensive, and it would pisses fans off to have to buy a new jersey everytime. Every year is way too often. Maybe every 10 years would be alright.
6. The Canucks alternate jersey, because they are my second favorite team.
7. Hot colours tones mainly. Like the Flyers (orange, black, white). Otherwise the Bruins are pretty physical/rough too (yellow, black, white).

1) I've always liked the look of the Wild's one.
2) The new Lighting one...I'm sorry but where's the look?
3) The Sabres retro from the 70's, it always looks amazing.
4) Panthers, the blue doesn't match the color scheme everyone knows them for.
5) Many of the sweaters have have changed slightly from year to year already, mostly just in the accent bands and a few for solid colors, so I can see subtle stuff happening, but not a whole new sweater every year. The Original 6 teams would never go for that anyways.
6) The Kings alternate sweater. I like the black and silver look from the 80s and 90s still, so this one fits right in.
7) Orange, orange, and orange.

1. I like the Bolts new jerseys, clean and simple. The blue looks nice too.
2. Not a fan of the Ottawa jerseys... any of them
3. I liked the throwback jerseys for the Hawks v Red Wings game, they were similar styles which made it look cohesive. I liked Calgary's at the Heritage classic this year too.
4. The Bruins throwback.
5. No, hockey jerseys are more expensive than soccer jerseys. Plus hockey relys on a lot of tradition whereas soccer seems to be less tied to their traditions.
6. Calgary Hitmen or Red Deer Rebels, they are cool looking jerseys, not sure I would wear another NHL team besides the Blackhawks. The only hockey jersey I have besides the Blackhawks is a Swedish National Jersey.
7. Black and Orange, rough dbaggy play. Black and Gold too. cough cough Matt Cooke.

1. I like the new look of Tampa's Jersey
2. The LA Kings. They wore new Jersey's a few games and it didn't have their name on the back.
3. Detroit's Winter Classic Jersey
4. Montreal's Striped Jersey, They looked like Prisoners lol
5. I don't think so. I personally hope they don't. It kind of gets annoying to me lol
6. Chicago Blackhawks Home Jersey (The Red one, not the black).
7. Philly, Orange. But I also think darker jerseys, like the Ducks and Stars, are physical lol

I say, some time past whilst interior the situations of my grandparents they have been attempting to regulate the quantity of gas getting used for lighting fixtures so as that greater of it may pass to the conflict attempt instead. for this reason, we nevertheless comply, nevertheless do not question me why! they could exchange it for the duration of the week day, and shall all of us pass domicile one hour early instead of dropping an hour on Sunday hmm?
