Unfortunately there is a difference. The main difference being in arrow straightness and uniformity. The average shooter will not tell a lot of difference. But a good shooter can shoot much better groups with a straighter and more uniform arrow. And it will show up even more greatly when you start shooting broad heads.

The cheap arrows will have a straightness factor of plus or minus .006. This is quite a bit of difference when the higher dollar arrow has a factor of .001

But what causes the biggest difference in impact is the spine difference between each of the cheaper arrows. The more expensive arrows will have very little difference in the spine weight of each of them making them a better choice.

But having said all that, you can get by with the cheaper arrows for awhile. And it may be better to go cheap until you have developed your shooting skills to be able to take advantage of the qualities of the higher priced arrows.

If you are not serious about your shooting and just shoot on occasion, go with the cheaper arrows. But if you are striving to be the best you can be, you need to eliminate equipment as a part of the problem if you can.

    hi there

yes there is a big difference in cheap to expensive carbon arrows, mostly in strength, straightness and weight, but unless you are getting realy good and putting in 2 inch groups at 40 yards its not an issue, all my hunting buddys are happy to put in 8 inch groups at 30 yards and you can do that with any arrow, its only when you want to get really accurate that you start to get the better arrows, i shot with the cheap ones untill i was shooting better, then bought a set of gold tip pro 300's and my groups instantly came in from 6 inches at 40 yards to 3 inches, and that is the difference. have fun shoot safe.
