Do you find this surprising?

A couple days ago, I saw a question I answered was resolved. The other answerer received BA, and I noticed they were Level 3 with 100% BA.

Curious, I checked out the other answers they gave that were chosen as best, and it led to no less than 50 accounts all linked, all created on Feb.19

20 of these accounts were level 3 with 100%BA, the other accounts only generated questions. Most of the questions posted were taken from other sites, many of them from a few years ago.

Why would someone create so many accounts and push them all to level 3? Is it possible they are just for reporting?

Are you surprised?

Update:

HH- I didn't understand everything you said. I personally find the orange badges meaningless, especially after having received one. As far as BA%, there are several questions I answer where I'm the only answerer. People then choose me just to get their 3 points. Also, if you look through my BA's, many are selected by voters, not askers.

    Do you know I have no idea why I get best answers lol.. but I never move from 9% .. not that I care but I have thought this is funny I have one account

    ( account ).. ..( Caz )....).. I have a name Missmonypen But I can't get her out,,,lol ' I have tried ' .

    I don't know why someone would create so many accounts, hmmm Some people must have nothing better to do

    Interesting, but maybe not that surprising. Would someone go to all that trouble just to be able to report other users? Yeah, maybe... Kind of suspicious though isn't it, 100%? Maybe they just need the facade of success and respect, and if they don't get it in real life they can create it on here. They must have an awful lot of time on their hands :-/

    Blessings that is a sad shame, i wonder what this World is coming to the person that did this need some help maybe they have a mental condition no one in they right mind will do some thing dumb like this.

    Frankly, I find anybody with an orange badge suspect. I have answered more questions than just about anyone, I was a top answerer in Philosophy, and despite my 300+ fans at that time, I couldn't break 8%.

    Frankly, if you are not a kissarse, part of a clique, or self-boosting you can't manage one of those orange bars or higher than 15%.

    So whom are we really talking about here?
