When will all these singles realize that looking beyond looks is the key to happiness?

I see so many questions from people asking about hot guys, hot girls, cute guys, cute girls, why don't I have a girlfriend/boyfriend, are my eyes too brown, am I too tall, etc. In the long run, appearance means nothing. Bonding with a person because of who that person is rather than what that person looks like is the key to relationship happiness. Your looks will fade, your muscles will soften, your face will wrinkle, and your hair will fall out, but the essence of who you are never changes.

Why can't all these unhappy singles see that?

I agree with you. Some people do realize that. Everyone is different. I think the media and nature play important roles in this issue.
