Is this a big enough cage for a Dwarf Hamster?

Not sure of exact breed though. Possibly Russian or Robo? http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i460/ValliM/20...

Anyway, sorry to get off track. I've always had hamsters in 10 gallon aquariums, as that's what all pet stores & breeders in my area use. After doing research I decided to make her out of the bin cage. This is the biggest one I could find http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i460/ValliM/20... or I would've gotten a bigger one. I measured it & it's 1.5x2.3 (Almost, not exact though). That's like 3 sq. ft. (If I did the math right.)

I'm just curious if this is big enough. I wish it could've been bigger though.

Thanks(:

Update:

He thanks guys! ♥ (:

The person I got her from (I asked him yesterday) said she was a Siberian. But I don't think so because the other ones are huge.

Thanks again(:

That is a very cute hamster and that cage is HUGE. Your hamster is going to be spoiled living in a huge pen like that. Think of the size of that tiny hamster compared to the size of that bin. He will be very happy living in there. Maybe with all of that room you could even get him a friend to keep him company.

hi, That cage could desire to be ok for a dwarf hamster i could say, yet in terms of hammies the bigger the cage the greater effectual! and not all dwarf hamsters decide to be saved in communities, chinese language hamsters do effective on their very own and may even combat while saved with others. i've got had extremely some hamsters, and chinese language hamsters have consistently been lots greater effectual for me than Syrians (purely my opinion however!) i've got in no way been bitten through a chinese language hamster, and that they are quite intelligent and greater mouse-like in visual allure! puppy shops regularly do no longer do happy with hamster cages, and many the smaller ones are not appropriate for hamsters and fairly are too small. extraordinarily Pets At domicile, the cage they stated as quickly as we observed our dwarf hamster replaced into ridiculously small. in case you wanted a syrian hamster i could say perhaps try to get a extremely greater cage. :)

Yes, that is a robo. I have an exact same hamster like that.

Yes, that cage is fine for such a tiny hamster like these. Your hamster doesn't need a big cage, since they're very small.
