I'm thinking of commuting my 70 miles roundtrip to work everyday on my motorcycle?

My dress code is a polo and khakis. I have a jacket to wear but is there anyway to keep the motorcycle exhaust smell from staying in my clothes? I'd like some opinions from people who commute to work on a motorcycle

You can either buy a one piece riding suit ala` Aerostitch or Tourmaster, dress up in anything you want, step into the suit, zip it up and there ya go!

Or get a 3/4 length jacket, and good riding pants to put on over your dress clothes.

Or have a change of clothes at work.

Some folks ride with just a jacket and chaps. Chaps don't do squat, but let a nice looking butt look better...

Source(s): Been there, done that, have the Aerostitch to prove it!

I commute on a motorcycle and I am a paramedic, we have a white uniform that I can't get sooty, dirty, or stinky. I will typically fold my shirt in a bag that I stow in the saddlebags, and put it on when I get to work... pants are another matter they are navy blue so it doesn't matter so much. Unless your bike is running really poorly, generally the stiff breeze blowing by will keep the exhaust fumes out of your clothes.

Smell? If anything, it's the other vehicles on the road, not motorcycle exhaust.

You may need something to keep the road crap off your pants.

Riding pants, chaps (I know), rain suit...

An alternative is to arrive at work early enough to change.

no person has addressed your holiday. is this Interstate? if so, there could be a minimum length required. a 125cc would desire to be waiting to realize 70mph, besides the undeniable fact that it won't sustain it for long. Likewise, how vast are you? once you're a a hundred pound rider, a 250 would desire to be positive yet once you weigh two times that, you will desire to choose larger. Take the MSF classification. they're going to grant you with a motorbike of around 250cc. you will understand if this is sufficiently vast by ability of the time the classification is over. then you definitely would make an counseled determination on what length motorbike you will choose. And a motorbike is an incredible thank you to alleviate rigidity. now and lower back the 12 mile holiday to my living house takes a 60 mile detour. :0)

Apparel for motorcyclists. Can protect you from the industrial quality reasons. And can protect you from rain, sun, wind conditions.

Your dress is new with love and style of dress of a person and your budget, I think this will offer suggestions and you'll get what you want to receive.

You're going to need armored pants, gloves, and helmet.

Your motorcycle exhaust is behind you, and you're moving at 65 mph, ahead of it.

Ride a little faster, stay ahead of the exhaust. :D.

Light up a stoogie to mask the other odors!

Change your clothes when you get to work.
