How can I safely bring my caloric intake up to where it should be?
For the past two weeks I've been having an average caloric intake of 400-700...sometimes more. I'm almost done with this near fast where I don't go over 200. It's over after Thursday, and I'm thinking I should go back to 800 or so calories a day...no more than 1000. I've been having issues with making myself throw up; this is another habit I know I need to stop...before it gets out of control.
I don't want to hear any whining about what this is doing to my body. Obviously I know this or I wouldn't be asking for help. This fasting thing was just to be a test of my willpower and to kick-start a bit of fat/weight loss. I'm starting to get intense pains and cravings, so I know that's not good. I don't want to go all out Friday, so I need some help. Please?
I'm a vegan and in college so it's more difficult. I know the first step is mental. It's so hard to stop hating and obsessing over calories...I just don't want to gain more weight. I also exercise pretty regularly...cycling, toning, cardio, sometimes walking or elliptical
I'm 18 yrs old 5' 7" and 162 as of last week...so I am overweight

something to keep in mind is that the lowest calorie intake a woman should take in is roughly 1200, and 1500 for a man. also that even just step by step, an extra piece of toast here, an fruit or veggie snack here, whatever it takes to be healthy. NEVER COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS! xD be safe and be healthy;)

um. drink an ensure? by fasting youre only screwing up your metabolism, you wont lose weight this way. u should not eat less than 1000 calories a day unless you weigh like 300 pounds and desperately need to lose weight.
u can easily add calories by having at least half an ensure at lunch and dinner.

Well first off... Seek help, you have a problem. But start eating light carbs like breads. These are easy to digest so ur body shouldnt reject them.
