Geometry question (angles)?

There's a question on my homework that I don't understand...

What is the measure of 9:40? (like the time, 9:40. On a clock)

Any ideas how to do this ? Thanks !

    9:40 (in clock time) is 30 degrees.

    Lets say its 3o' clock right now. It forms a 90 degrees angle. If you bisect the angles into 3 angles, Then those 3 angles equal to 90 degrees.

    So, 2:05 = 30 degree, 3:10 is = 30. 1o' clock is 30. 3:00 is 90 degrees because it forms a right angle.

    because 9:00 is a 90 degree angle and so is 9:30 you devise 90 by and get the answer
