Algebra with exponents?

8^(2-X) = 4^(3X)

Please show me the steps, I haven't done this kind of math in awhile.

    (2^3)^(2 - x) = (2^2)^3*x

    2^(6 - 3*x) = 2^6*x

    6 - 3*x = 6*x

    9*x = 6

    x = 2/3

    8^(2-X) = 4^(3X)

    (2^3)^(2-X) = (2^2)^(3X)

    2^(6-3X] = 2^6X

    6 - 3X = 6X //// equate powers

    6 = 9X

    X = 6/9 = 2/3
