bored boys on my hands, 4 yr old, and 2 year old. help, pls?! they r drivng me nuts?

One of the things I used to do is break out some blankets and a few chairs and made a tent out of them in the living room. Sometimes, I'd make popcorn and put in a movie for them to watch while they huddled in the tent. Or I'd make a tunnel out of the chairs and blankets and let them climb around inside and out.

Another favorite toy of theirs was boxes!!! One year for Christmas, my husband wrapped a bunch of smallish boxes in orange paper that were the same size and made a "brick" wall in the hallway as a way to keep the boys in their rooms until we were ready to get up. Our boys loved those boxes to pieces.... literally! They kept them for a couple of years and would have a blast building walls to knock over or tracks for their cars.

my boys are driving me nuts too, I used all my best tricks at the beginning of winter, I can't wait till this snow melts and we can go outside. My son and I just played fallow the leader, tag and made a lil obsticle course and raced around the house. Only took 30 min and now he is wore out and watching bob the builder then off to bed.

yep...mine are 8, 5,4, and 2..and they stay "so bored" lol...we go outside and play, we break out the play dough, we color, we wrestle, we watch movies...and if none of that works we clean up YAY..or we do mommies favorite and take a nap!!!
