To begin with, the following three shirts ought to be in your wardrobe for any occasion: white, light blue, and cream/light khaki. These shirts are what are called foundation shirts, as they will go with any color suit you have, and just about any tie.

First choose your shirt, as this will influence your tie choice. I would recommend the light blue, with a light khaki as your second choice. Second, choose the tie. Find a tie that has some elements of the shirt and suit in it (so for that blue shirt, get a tie with blue tones and camel/earth tones). If you opt for the khaki shirt, I would go for a tie that contrasts. In this case, a tie with burgundy and dark earth tones. You could also go for something with olive instead of burgundy as a contrast.

For shoes, it depends on the other colors you're wearing. If you go with the blue-and-tan or the khaki-and-olive combos, wear rich brown shoes, like the color of coffee with just a little bit of cream in it. If you end up going for the khaki-and-burgundy combo, wear cordovan (burgundy) shoes, as the colors will balance each other out.

Also, remember that your belt is to match your shoes, and that your socks are to match your pants. Also, throw in a pocket square to match the color of whichever tie you choose. If you really want to nail the look, it's all in the details.
