If Libyans fought and died for their freedom?
If the U.S., U.N., and NATO, would just let these people win their freedom on their own wouldn't they be better off? The 'freedom' we 'gave' to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan means very little to them, and corruption is rampant. Should we just watch as they change their own world?

The sad thing is that we'll be damned if we do and we'll be damned if we don't intervene.

The US gets 7% of our oil from Libya and it is faster to help the rebels defend the ports so the oil keeps flowing. Plus if we kiss their butts enough we may get a sweeter deal.

if the u.s and the impotent u.n and nato do nothing innocent civilians will die. gaddafi needs to go and there is every chance he will win this civil war without intervention

What is funny to me is that Libya's leader used to be the darling of the liberals, until he stopped bombing Discos in europe and funding terrorist groups.
