Would you like to see Danica Patrick race full time in NATIONWIDE?

I'm not an actual fan of hers but I'm a fan of JR Motorsports. I would actually like to see her run Nationwide full time and then run Cup, of course only by driving ability. Even though she did get 4th because she had a better fuel mileage strategy she was still running near the top 10 pretty much all day. She has no problem driving the car hard. I watch IRL IndyCar to and from what I can tell, she's very good at the ovals but she for some reason isn't all that great at road courses. I was thinking that could just be that she's better than the others at ovals but the others are road course drivers where she's an oval driver. Kind of like how you see a majority of NASCAR drivers not doing to great on road courses while some are good at both type of tracks. She just needs to go into NASCAR full time, I honestly think it's a better fit and that she can have more success in it than she is at IRL. Maybe she's just having to wit for her contract to run out with Andretti Autosport first before she goes to NASCAR full time. She just needs the seat time, but running top 10s and 5s are still good for someone that's only been in a stock car for 15 races (not all back to back).

From a marketing standpoint I think it's great for NASCAR. She'll get more females into the sport and guys love looking at her all the same. From a racing standpoint though I dont see what the big deal is about her. She has over 100 starts in the IRL/IZOD or whatever theyre calling it these days in 7 seasons and only has 1 win. Has 1 top 5 finish in points (5th in 2009). In Nationwide races I think she has more DNF's than top 5 finishes but I'm not sure so feel free to check my math. So as far as racing goes I think shes more of a PR move and not a serious contender.

Hey, guy below me, a girl has played for the Tampa Bay Lighting. But women should have a separate little race at the before the real race begins, just to get the crowd into it, like a mascot race in baseball. Maybe they should even pull a Will Ferrel and run around the track in their undies.

Yes, she should have never signed that contract extension with Andretti Green Racing in the IRL. She wants to make the move to NASCAR, and she needs to run all the races to keep improving drastically. She should stop the IRL, run two full seasons in Nationwide, and then go to Cup if she's good enough.

Only after she becomes the first woman to win the Indy 500, she does pretty good at Indy, once she gets that done and can focus on Nascar full time then I say it wold be okay for her to race full time.

I would like to see her make the jump to stock cars. She brings much needed exposure and she is doing a great job representing herself this year. I said her goal should be to stay on the lead lap and to work on getting top 10 finishes this year and to get a top 5 after 12 starts in a stock car is a great accomplishment.

Yes, I would the more she races the better she gets if she does decide to do full time someday she just might win the championship.

Yes. It would help her mature as a stock car driver and could get her to Cup faster. She is definitely the cutest of all the drivers and that is a plus.
