How do you get rid of bumps at the base of your neck?

When I look at pics of myself from a few years ago, from my shoulders to my neck is flat. Now I have bulges at the base of my neck and I hate them. I look like I have a knot in my muscles right there all the time. I do not have neck, shoulder, or upper back pain so I'm not sure if its actually a knot. This has been this way for the last few years. When it gets massaged it feels really tense and hurts a little but in a good way?! LOL

Anyway, why do I have these bumps and how can I get rid of them?

Update:

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with muscles because body builders and athletes have huge bulges st the base of their necks. If you put your hand on the top of your shoulder and then slide it towards your neck until you can't slide any further, where your hand stops is the spot I'm talking about. This used to be flat, now I have a bump on each side.

hello, I was having this diet trouble for so many years that it seemed hopeless. I used to take all kinds of pills but nothing seem to work. Until I found this website by accident, I was doubtful at first. I was feeling a bit lighter for the first week, but I was feeling good. After losing that first bit of weight, which was so uplifting, I worked on developing good diet to keep off the weight. I couldn't be more happier. I hope I've provided good information: http://www.greatloseweightnet.tk/

People are on the whole gonna believe I'm very dull however that is what works for me. So, I did this a couple of months in the past when you consider that I'm now not the neatest. Keep that during brain. Acne is triggered by means of micro organism developing in and below your dermis proper? So I surely suggestion that if Hand Sanitizer killed micro organism, why cannot it kill it on my face? Andddd that result in me placing a few small quantities of hand sanitizer in my T-zone and different functional locations.I do that approximately two-three occasions an afternoon and that works fairly quality for me.
