Should Poets be issued a Poetic License?

There are times in rhymes

When tension climbs

And Grammar Primes

Nickel dime our crimes

Well I say poets

Aren't fools who bend rules

They're jewels forming pools of thought

Are they naught?

Update:

Gio- very nice! and thank you...

Cheesy- Not a RWI?? Too much cheese and wine? Can't fault you there- haha

Update 2:

SNI- you may not be 17, but you get the full license in my book

LC- you're amazing- 'nuff said.

Update 3:

HD- You really are funny...

Update 4:

Kirby- I'm with you: Bring It!

Fatal Kiss- Your avatar kinda freaks me out, but you seem very nice :)

What's the test to get one? Do I have to drive around and recite poems with an obese old dude who is a nazi about weird forms making me read slower and faster in certain area's and ending with a parallel parking test!?? Whatever, bring it. I passed parallel parking on the first try. =p

Is there a test with this license? just kidding. Having a license would be fun to flash someone with.

    There are fines for crimes

    of unlicensed rhymes.

    but you write lines

    like a box-making mime!

I am thinking onyx goes well with my next poem...
