Connecting two computers to high speed internet?

Hi! I have two PCs, (one using Windows Vista and one using Windows XP), I have high speed internet, and I want to be able to connect Wifi to XP's computer. The only thing is the internet is installed on Vista's computer, and XP system doesn't have WIFI. So, how can I use internet on the second computer? Is it possible to install a wireless router on XP's system? Thank you!

you need to buy a WIFI USB adapter for one or both or your computers (it sounds like you already have one directly connected so don't worry about buying both just the one)

then buy a wireless router. you have a high speed internet as do i so you'll have no problem. i have two pc's and a laptop, my girlfriend has a iphone as do i. my house mate owns a ipod touch. when all six devices are running using the wifi we see a small lag, but not too drastic.

there's nothing too much you need to install. just a disk, both devices come with, that does everything for you. best part is there's no monthly fee.

Wireless adapter for the XP, or you can just buy a CAT 5 cable and plug it in the Pc with XP to the router. If you don't wanna use CAT 5 cable because its to much money for such a short amount. Ill sell you CAT 5 cables for cheap, I make custom CAT 5 cables. Just email me at darienpham1@gmail.com

I assume the Vista machine is connected directly to the modem.

All you need is a wireless router. Follow the install instructions and you're good to go.

You can buy one, or many ISPs will supply one for a nominal cost.

You can get a wi-fi USB adapter or wi-fi network card for the XP computer. You should not need any special software to connect to the internet.

considering the fact which you have 2 separate rooms. purchase a on the spot router and a pair of on the spot community enjoying cards (I surely have DLink router and enjoying cards and get 108 MBps, if community card and router are no longer via an identical producer you will probably only get fifty 4 MBps). Plug cable modem into router. setting up/replace community enjoying cards. Conifgure the router and enjoying cards and now you have the two machines on an identical community. The consumer instruction manual that consists of router and enjoying cards will clarify all of it intimately. it works super for me (do only no longer ignore to enable secure practices).
