You can get roll ends, close outs and mill over runs from as low as.75/1.00 $ a s/f and up.
Cheap foam pad from 25 cents and up depending on the poundage.
And labor, depending on the type of carpet and overall footage, generally goes from .45/60 cents a foot. A lot of guys have to charge a minimum if its just one small room. This can vary ( as well as a lot of prices) from area to area.
