Traveling to Orlando in May 2011. Need helpful info :)?

My girlfriend and I are traveling to Orlando Fl. towards the end of May. What should I expect: Will it be crowded (Sea world)? Will it be hot and humid? Will we be able to get tans by the pool? Any other advise would be very appreciated. Thanks for you time :)

Update:

Thank for your answers. We will be going May 24 - 28 so I assume thats right before Memorial Day.

The crowds really start to pick up around Memorial Day, then will rapidly build to the full-blown summer crowd levels; this is because kids are getting out of school for the summer all over the Northern hemisphere. It would be helpful if you listed your dates of travel, but generally if you're going before Memorial Day weekend you should expect moderate crowds (which is not so bad), crazy crowds Memorial Day weekend, and generally high crowds afterward.

As for the weather, it will be hot (low-high 80's) and maybe somewhat humid. The rainy season (where it rains pretty much every afternoon) doesn't typically get into full swing until sometime in June, but you shouldn't rule out a few rain showers. Summer clothing will be fine throughout your trip.

i circulate to think of, considering which you have Sea international on your concepts, you additionally are clever adequate to understand approximately the different topic parks, and without offense meant to everyone, I wish topic parks may well be a separate type right here. Orlando isn't very nearly the Mouse. In some degree it would desire to count on the place you genuinely stay, your funds, timeframe, automobile youpersistent right here or lease, AND what they might already be interested in, no longer understanding O city and the parks, and what you settle for in trucking around critical FL., and so on. straightforward might desire to be Swan peddle boats and a Picnic at Lake Eola in downtown O city. a briefpersistent to the Loch Haven complicated there is the technology middle, interactive and way ok for youthful teenagers, and or the paintings museum and historic museum. A 30 minutepersistent south might desire to get you to Gatorland, on the OBT, genuinely an journey for babies, and might desire to final a a million/2 day a minimum of. in case you have the time and capacity, Cocoa coastline is an hour east, whilst the Gulf is approximately 2 hours west. The CAPE museum might desire to attraction to them? on condition that a 7 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous in lots of situations has a reasonable interest span i would not truck them interior the process the subject parks till you concentration on specifics. you could desire to attend ninety minutes in line for a 2 minute journey. If i became into 7, i may well be loopy by ability of the time i became into next. Then there are paying for reviews interior the parks that is as remarkable, and that i've got an exceptionally final advice. connect with the O city Chamber of commerce, asking particular Questions regarding events and events, suited and probable relaxing for 7 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds. Yes to all 3 of your questions.

May is when it starts to get hot, crowded, and the sun becomes unbearable.

Crowds at seaworld isn't a big deal for the shows, only the rides. The shows like dolphin and whale stuff can seat many hundreds or possible a thousand people.

The kracken roller coaster can have long lines in the summer, but its worth it.
