Do you have a hard time folding fitted sheets?
It was a problem for me too until I saw this video.

Why do you think fitted sheets always come either rolled in a tube or with cadboard in them to keep them square packed by the manufacturer?
I just push the opposing corners into each other, fold the edging in on the top and the side and then just fold them as best I can. And then when I put them away I bury them beneath the flat sheets and pillow cases. Simple.

I had it down to a science 45 years ago. I would always fold them exactly like they came out of the package. While raising a family of four and taking care of my grandmother all at the same time, I almost never folded sheets because I would wash them and put them right back on the bed. The only time I didn't do this is when someone was sick and sheets needed changing every day until they got well.

Folding fitted sheets is a challenge at best. What I do is hold one corner, then feel down the top edge of the sheet to the next corner and pull that up over the first one. Then feel down the top edge of THAT forner for the next corner and pull that up. I sometimes have to straighten the sheets a bit at that point. Then I will bring up the last corner, straighten the folded areas, then proceed to finish folding.

Sheesh, i watched that video & it sure isn't the way I do mine.
They come out just as nice, but I guess we all have our own style.
I learned as a child when we worked in a folding room @ the local
laundry.
I only have one set of sheets that I use these days & never have to
bother with the drudgery of folding them or finding a place for them....
I put them right back on the bed after they are washed & dried.
SIMPLE & EFFECTIVE.
I love being single & poor.

No...my mother showed me how to do it. We didn't have fitted sheets growing up...we made standard hospital corners with flat sheets to make our beds.
I was grown and living away from home first time I ever bought fitted sheets. Stored them in a wadded up way because I didn't know a better way to do it.
One weekend was at Mama's helping her get ready for a holiday get together. We were in the laundry room putting away clean clothing and Mama showed me how to properly fold a fitted sheet to make a neat packet for the linen closet shelf.
It was so simple I was ashamed I had not been smart enough to figure it out for myself. DUH moment.

Just don't wash the sheets -- problem solved!
I am kidding! I cannot wait to try to fold my sheets. Usually I end up with a big ball. Now it will be a big ball that looks ironed. LOL.

Seen this before. I seldom fold fitted sheets. It's easier to use one set, wash and put them back on the bed

Oh my God...the science of housekeeping! I probably wasn't supposed to laugh so hard while watching that. My approach is to take it out the dryer, push it into the corner or any spare space I have in my wardrobe, fit it onto the bed and let my body heat iron out the crinkles. You heard it here first on HDB's perfect housekeeping. Maybe I'll make my own youtube channel?
