Care to Critique my Critique?
In an effort to improve my critique flaccidity, I'm seeking advise for improvement (a Poet was offended by this critique, if there is a different critique that I've given that you'd like to critique, please feel free.)
>> Imagine in this space
>> Observations
>> That don't say much
>> Of anything
>> Written in rhyme by
>> A Human Being
It's a nice poem, some good thoughts and your rhymes are good. I think it would be better if you balanced out your meter. Given that there is no hidden meanings or serious impact, to have it read more smoothly would help.
.
Poem: defined by Merriam-Webster
1: a composition in verse
2: something suggesting a poem (as in expressiveness, lyricism, or formal grace)
LC- Thanks for playin
Cheesy- Here's the issue: The poem I critiqued was nothing special written by a nobody... It was Great Poet who was offended because I called it poetry.
If nothing else, this will be a great exercise in improving my communication skills... The actual poem was about the earthquake. I didn't think it was necessary to post the poor guys "poem" haha

JC, Where is the problem? You are a soldier, all right, but do not knock yourself out over anything, OK?
It's true! Many poets get offended when somebody enters "their space" and offers criticism, I know it from some people's reactions as well! The above verses are the poem? As I mentioned some time ago, it is another thing to present a careful, combed, elaborated piece of literature, and another to express your immediate reactions and thoughts over something. Over!

I thought the poem was interesting, if not brilliant. But I didn't find your critique particularly offensive. Rage-inducing--maybe. A hate-filled rant, geared to causing pain--perhaps. Filth, spewed from the very bowels of hell--without a doubt. But offensive? hardly.

This poem is extra suitable than the day gone by's.specific I trust you that love no longer exists between families yet vulgarity.Vulgarity has disguised itself as love and has mesmerized all people.the way kin behave with one yet another, they think of that its love even though it fairly is not. i individually don't understand the western subculture.mom and dad motivate their little ones to dependancy, brothers have intercourse with their sisters(some even have with their mom and dad).i assume it fairly is the reason why we call this cutting-edge age because of the fact the age of darkness and lack of information.
