High School of the Dead?
High School of the Dead is a manga I read at the end of last year. I'm a competent adult and I realize it came out in 2006 and there's only 28 chapters so I figured that chapters are released either far apart or something of that nature. I just read the newest chapter and it said next release in June (I think). Is this normal to release chapters so far apart. Most of the reason for this question is just curiosity.

It's normal if something urgent happend that made them have to go on a long Hiatus like what happend with 'D.Gray-Man' which was on hiatus for several months a year ago becuase of the mangaka's health. In this case it could be becuase the Mangaka lives in Japan which was recently hit by a tsunami and a massive earthquake.

Somtimes this might happen because online manga scans are usually faster than waiting for the actusall books so it might be that the writer hasn't created the next chapter yet.

I Know that the Loveless volumes have also been released far apart
The writer could just be on hiatus
