Are there any peace activists here who are not vegetarian, vegan, or fruitarian?

The 60's were wild times, was in police work and could relate to some movements. Most had to break up, as civil disorder or parading without a permit to do so. While doing so many were cooking out on grills, burgers, chicken, hot dogs, had a fun time with a lot of groups keeping peace and harmony.

A peace activist can do little in the world until they are at peace themselves. That's a rare state of being. Peace through vegetarianism? Hmmm. I'm betting it couldn't hurt the cause. I was at peace once and during that time I was a vegetarian.

I am an omnivore and also a peace activist. But probably not the approach to peace activism you have in mind. I believe in peace through strength. A good analogy would be a cop. Cops are all into achieving peace, but they know that pacifism is not conducive to peace, so are prepared to deal with and put an end to 'not-peace'. That's how I am.

I used to be a peace activist; but I got into too many fights about it so I now eat transfats and discuss global nuclear war in McDonald's

Probably not. What has happened to Cindy Sheehan anyway? Funny how she is nowhere to be found protesting when there is a Democrat in the White House.

Yeah... As soon as I put up my protest sign, I intend to grill some hamburgers...

I would support ANY movement towards peace.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a cow to slaughter...
