Dell GX260 - what bios does it have?
I'm working on updating a GX260 and was thinking I could flash the bios if it hasn't already been updated. I know the most current bios is A09, but how do I find what version is on the machine now?

A bios update is specific to the mother board and manufacture. Factory mother boards like Dell, HP, Acre, etc are prioritized and are NOT the same as a board you can buy from places like newegg etc. You can ONLY flash with updates you can get from the Dell site for your specific board. Trying anyone else bios updates more than likely will permanently crash your machine! Though the board and bios chip may be a "brand name" they are made specifically to Dell spec. They have very little allowable updates available.
