Its really a matter of opinion. Expensive doesn't always mean the best. You can get a Sony vaio that will perform as good as a Mac for half the price.

The Vaio is a tool, the Mac is a toy plain and simple. You want to spend half the money you would spend on the Mac for a Vaio that is compatible with the world or do you want an over priced and incompatible Mac toy?

one any body with a mac or sony is going to say the one they have is the best but sony cost less and are good to have if you already own a ps3 u can huck them up wireless and use the keybored its fast loading and easy to use where as mac are over rated and are made by apple who seem to be better due to there name but how ever they have had a lot or probmle with there iphones and are made by the sames guys if you want one of the two best thing is go in to a pc world ask one of the guys that work there to let u have full use for ten 20 minutes on both and see witch is better for your own use because each laptop is better for one person then the other for an other person if you get what i am saying

It depends what your gonna use it for. For example the vaio is better for gaming Mac Is I guess more for presentation or work or school stuff

I would not recommend either. Get an HP, ASUS, or something along those lines. As for the answer above most expensive does not eqaul better in this case. Macs can do nothing more than Windows and cost far more.

Niether haha their both overpriced anyone that knows about laptops knows this. Theirs a HP called an envy or a DV6 3032tx that looks like a macbook pro, half the price and double the power.
