why does not chat on face book go to my message box?
on face book when i chat in the box at the bottom it always goes into my message box at the top .Also where you click on the persons name there is a little square box there that my daughter do not have

It all depends on the options you have chosen or not. You have many options including privacy options, message options, etc. Experiement until you get the set up that works for you.

when people are off line or flipping around pages games etc - chat breaks connection thus it goes to message inbox.
and as for the box ,, possible difference in if your both running the new page version?
several updates this week such as hitting enter now just to post something.

Facebook has updated their IM bar, and you can see on the little IM window tab, there is a little window as well. You can click it and see all the previous records of IMing you and a person have done, AND you can send IM's from your inbox. Its pretty nifty.
