Upbeat female singer?

Not sure there are that many that sing upbeat. Below are some options with links that you can decide if they're are something that you might like.

Alexz Johnson. The "Z/Zed" is not a mistake. Check out her song "Chicago" see since has a little different sound, that I like. Her album Voodoo is Jazz Rock to Indie Pop. Chicago is a cool song. Not sure how 'upbeat' the song is, depends on if you're talking tempo or lyrically. Chicago she recorded while with Epic/Capitol. She since is with a indie label Check Out "Trip Around the World, LA Made Me, and others. She was also on the show "Instant Star" where she sings more rock songs. Not a bad show - A little dramatic at times. Alexz has one of the better voices out there.

if you want more hard rock, you can't go wrong with the all girl rock band "The Donnas" my fav is "smoke you out" from their album Bitchin' if you're looking for old fashioned rocker chicks - this is best band. These girls say what they mean and are pushed over by no one - I think that's part of what makes people like them. That and they play awesome music.

Neither of these seem a whole of a lot similar to the two singers/bands you mentioned, but it's what I could up with off the top.
