Has Congress Authorized the Use of Force Against Libya...Obama's War?

i read a book in the 1970s. forgot the title, but it was a conspiracy perspective into u.s. history. dang if that book didn't nail the future down. i remember one part talked about a major catastrophe being the hinge point that would turn the u.s. military into a world police force. who can argue that we aren't that now, after 911...

Why do conservatives have such a hard time with facts? No, congress has not authorized use of force and Obama has made it quite clear that we will not be leading the effort. Further, the no-fly zone is designed to avert the kind of irresponsible, unnecessary, counter productive invasion that the former administration (I know how you conservatives hate the "B" word) engaged in. No. it is not "Obama's War" because he did not ignore the United Nations and unilaterally decide to invade...in fact there is no invasion planned!
